God, Trust, and Motorcycle Journeys: Part Two; A Biker’s Prayer

Bikers come in all colors and creeds. Most of the ones I know pray for their own safety and that of their loved ones. Many pray for humanity, for the poor, downtrodden and the lonely. Some pray for personal guidance and direction; not just the right road but the right path to follow in life.
I’ve looked at lots of possibilities for biker’s prayers but none struck me the right way. The right sense of reverence, trust and abandonment. I realized that a prayer I say nearly every night could be modified easily to fit perfectly.
Though it’s from the Book of Psalms in the Hebrew Bible I believe it could be used ecumenically. It’s from Psalm 143.8. Anyway, here goes.

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should ride; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

The original says “walk” instead of ride.

That prayer pretty much covers all my bases. Anybody got a better one?
